How does this tool work? Are these real fonts?
This tool doesn't use traditional fonts like you'd install on a computer. Instead, it uses Unicode characters. Unicode is a universal standard for text that includes thousands of symbols, including many that look like stylized letters. Because these are standard characters, you can copy and paste them into most text fields online, and they will retain their unique style.
Why does my name show up as boxes (☐☐☐) on some websites?
This happens when the website or app you're pasting the name into does not support that specific set of Unicode characters. The device or platform's font doesn't know how to display that character, so it shows a placeholder box. While most modern platforms support a wide range of characters, some older or more restrictive ones may not. It's always a good idea to test your name before finalizing it.
Can I combine multiple styles?
The "modifier" styles like strikethrough and underline can sometimes be combined with other character fonts, but this is not guaranteed to work on all platforms. The best way is to copy a base style you like, paste it somewhere, and then copy a modifier style to see if it applies correctly.
