litch Stylish Name

Corrupt your name. A collection of broken, distorted, and digitally decayed styles for a name that refuses to compute.

How to Glitch Your Text

Creating a corrupted, copy-pasteable style for your name or text is a simple descent into the digital abyss.

1. Input Data

Enter any text into the input field. The system will immediately begin processing and corrupting it.

2. Witness Anomaly

As you type, the grid will generate a live feed of distorted, glitchy, and cursed text styles.

3. Capture Glitch

Find a style that resonates with the void and click its card. The corrupted text is copied, ready to be unleashed online.

The Art of Digital Decay

This tool uses a combination of special Unicode characters and CSS font styling to create its unique, unsettling, and fascinating effects.

Zalgo Text

The "Cursed" style uses a technique known as Zalgo text. It works by adding a chaotic stack of "combining characters"—special Unicode symbols that attach to the character before them. By stacking many of these vertically, we create the signature "glitching up and down" effect that seems to break the page.

Unicode & CSS

This generator uses two types of styles. Some, like the Zalgo text, are created using copy-pasteable Unicode characters. Others are visual previews using unique CSS fonts (like 'Rubik Glitch') and effects. The "Copy" button will always copy the underlying Unicode-generated text.

Where to Use Glitched Text

Make your online presence memorably strange. Here are some of the best places to deploy your newly corrupted text.

01

Usernames & Bios

Create a creepy, hacked, or edgy username for social media or gaming platforms like Discord, Twitch, and TikTok.

02

Social Media Posts

Add a bizarre twist to your posts and comments. Zalgo text is a classic way to create "cursed" content on platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

03

Creative Projects

Generate ideas for album covers, poster designs, or digital art where a chaotic, deconstructed, and unsettling aesthetic is desired.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get quick answers to common questions about our glitch text generator.

Why are some styles copy-pasteable and others are not?

This generator has two types of styles: CSS styles and Unicode styles. The Unicode styles (like Zalgo or Strikethrough) can be copied and pasted anywhere because you're copying the actual text characters. The CSS styles (using special fonts like 'Rubik Glitch') are visual previews only and cannot be copied, as you can't copy a "font." The "Copy" button will always copy the underlying Unicode-generated text.

Can Zalgo text break websites or apps?

Yes, sometimes! Using an excessive amount of Zalgo characters can stretch the height of a line of text so much that it overlaps with other content and disrupts the layout of a webpage. Our generator uses a moderate amount to be interesting but not destructive. Use it responsibly and be mindful that it can make text difficult or impossible to read for some users.
