Frequently Asked Questions

Get quick answers to common questions about using our doodle text generator.

Why do some styles not copy correctly?

This generator uses two different methods. Many styles are created with CSS (using real web fonts like 'Rock Salt'). These are for visual preview only on this site. Other styles use Unicode, which are special text characters and emojis. Only the Unicode-based styles can be copied and pasted. The "Copy" button will always copy the underlying Unicode text, which is designed to be as universal as possible.

Can I use numbers and other symbols?

Yes! Numbers and most common symbols (like !@#$%) will be included in the styles that add decorators around the text (like waves 🌊 or squiggles ~). For the styles that use Unicode to change the letters, numbers and symbols will typically remain in their standard form.
